Information collected

When you submit an enquiry, YardLightDigital may collect your name, business name, email address, optional phone number, area or suburb, current website, enquiry details, package interest, consent record and basic technical information needed to operate and secure the form.

Why it is collected and how it is used

The information is used to accept and respond to your enquiry, assess whether a homepage preview or paid service is suitable, prepare a scope or proposal, keep a reasonable contact history, prevent spam, respect contact preferences and meet legal or business record-keeping obligations. It is not sold.

Forms, photos and attachments

The landscaping demonstration on this site is local and demo-only. Information and photos selected in that demonstration are not transmitted or uploaded. The main enquiry form does not currently accept attachments. If secure file upload is added to a client project later, its storage, access and retention arrangements will be confirmed in the written scope and privacy information.

Service providers and overseas processing

YardLightDigital may use service providers for website hosting, data storage, security, email delivery, payments, scheduling and approved project delivery. Some providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States or other locations where their infrastructure operates. Only information reasonably needed for the service should be shared.

Storage and retention

Enquiries are stored using the site’s configured data service and are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active business relationship, meet legal obligations, resolve concerns and record contact preferences. Information may then be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

Access, correction and deletion

You may ask to access or correct personal information held about you, request deletion where appropriate, or withdraw consent to further contact. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business records.

YardLightDigital will consider the request and respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may seek information from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
