Terms & ownership
Simple commercial foundations.
Last updated 13 July 2026. These statements are a plain-language summary. Each paid project receives a written proposal, approved scope and commercial terms before work begins.
Quotes, payment and timing
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a 50% deposit is required to begin and the balance is due before launch or transfer. Delivery begins only after the deposit and all required content, access and approvals are received. Indicative delivery is 7–10 business days for Essential, 10–15 business days for Quote-Ready, and 15–25 business days for LeadFlow after required workflow approval. Client delays, unavailable access, added scope and third-party dependencies may change timing.
Scope and revision rounds
The approved scope controls delivery. A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback relating to that approved scope. Essential includes one consolidated revision round. Quote-Ready and LeadFlow each include two. New pages, features, integrations or substantial direction changes require written approval and are quoted separately.
Package boundaries
Essential is a one-page website and standard enquiry starting point. Quote-Ready adds up to five focused pages and a detailed questionnaire, but does not include photo upload unless secure storage is agreed and configured. LeadFlow adds agreed qualification rules and a simple pipeline using an agreed tool; it is not development of a fully custom CRM. Complex integrations and automation are scoped and quoted separately after discovery.
Recurring services
Hosting at AUD $150 per year covers website hosting, SSL, basic uptime availability and essential deployment support. The Care Plan at AUD $49 per month adds basic monitoring, technical checks and up to 20 minutes of minor text or image changes per month, with a normal response target of two business days. Unused time does not roll over.
LeadFlow Care at AUD $99 per month includes the Care Plan plus health checks for the existing agreed workflow, monitoring of integration failures where technically available and initial incident review, with a normal response target of two business days. New workflows, integrations, strategy, lead management, data entry, subscriptions and usage-based charges are excluded. Ongoing maintenance, changes and support are never unlimited.
Third-party costs
Domain registration, business email, advertising, paid software, payment processing, messaging, storage, usage-based automation or AI charges and other third-party services are separate unless the written scope expressly includes them.
Ownership
After full payment, ownership of the approved custom website content and project-specific build transfers to the client, excluding YardLightDigital’s pre-existing methods, reusable components and third-party software, fonts, media or services, which remain subject to their licences. Free preview concepts remain YardLightDigital property until a paid agreement states otherwise.
No guaranteed results
YardLightDigital will perform the agreed work with reasonable care but does not guarantee search rankings, Google Business Profile approval, lead volume, revenue or other commercial results.
Client responsibilities
The client must provide accurate information, lawful content, required access and permission to use supplied text, images and other materials. The client approves final claims, prices, images and compliance requirements before launch.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
